Day one was a great adventure. We started with learning our names and fun things to do. Then we started our walk and stopped to do a fun drawing which was very funny because we tried to draw without seeing it and just based on its characteristics. I soon realized I had over layered and was very hot, but we kept moving and found the waterfall Welton Falls, by crossing a big stream on slippery rocks and trees. Once we got to the waterfall view we had lunch. A nice drizzle came on our way back to the lodge which cooled me off nicely. When we were about ¾ of the way to the lodge we met Mr.Woolner and found a Great tree. After we reached the bus we played mountain games and finished it off with singing on the bus to the fast exiting bus ride.
Day one was mostly preparation for Mt. Cardigan and drawing but even with doing drawings constantly, we made good progress on our hike seeing beautiful sights such as waterfalls, and great views. But why I chose movement was because I saw the most geese folks that day flying to warmer places. Also, we saw a mole which instinctively moved quickly to a good area and started to hide under thick leaves and dirt. We also saw an old house's foundation, our guide told us how the people moved to Cardigan and then after time migrated to flatter lands, which were betting for farming. Movement is all about moving from one place from another, it can be migrating, traveling, and much more.
